The Outpost marked her first major part in the US as her previous movies were located in Australia. Jessica's enthusiasm for action is shown in the film that includes mixed martial arts, horses riding abilities, as well as her athletic abilities and weapons. She can also perform her stunts in a way that portrays the strength of a female persona. She is a trained boxer, muay Thai and a mixed martial artist.
