Miley Ray Cyrus was born Destiny Hope Cyrus, was born to Tish Cyrus, Billy Ray Cyrus, and her siblings at Thompson's Station in Tennessee. The actress was joined by her father again. The show would go on to be an enormous success. Record sales, tour dates which sold out, and contracts for merchandise were also signed. Cyrus rapidly became a cult figure among teens. After the huge success of Hannah Montana (2006), Cyrus moved to other roles, including the role of Ronnie Miller in The Last Song (2010) as well as Lola as Lola in LOL (2012) with Demi Moore.
